Musical Arranger and Orchestrator

Jamie’s arrangements have been heard in London and across the globe. From full orchestrations for new musicals to bespoke charts for bands and singers, Jamie works collaboratively with directors and composers.

Jamie uses Logic Pro with industry-leading VSTs for track production and audio editing. As a multi-instrumentalist, he combines virtual instruments with live capture to produce the highest quality click tracks and backing tracks with an acute attention to detail.

Jamie produces clean, accurate and crucially, player-friendly sheet music using Sibelius. He has experience creating anything from full orchestral scores to 4 piece jazz charts. He is regularly employed to transcribe audio, recently transcribing 56 songs into a Piano Vocal score for a new musical.

Composer

Jamie has composed for shows such as Shakespeare’s As You Like It as well as special commissions such as an original song for a recent PR campaign River of Stars”.

Jamie was also commissioned to write an original song for the launch of a new app, which he composed and produced.

Pianist

Jamie is a fluent sight-reader and can also play by ear, with excellent improvisational skills. Alongside MDing shows, Jamie works as an audition pianist and répétiteur in the West End. He is well versed as a rehearsal pianist and has deputised Keys chairs.

Vocal Coach

Jamie is a regular guest tutor at drama colleges such as LSMT, Emil Dale Academy and Stagebox. He has an extensive knowledge of the musical theatre cannon and enjoys working with performers to maximise their vocal potential.
